The tree on his sleeve is a looking-glass mangrove tree, which have uniquely giant roots and can grow to be giants themselves! With Elffe’s huge terraforming, it felt fitting. The ones on the front of his cardigan have root arches of coastal mangrove, and I loved including different silhouettes of tropical fish. King of making it rain fish ^_^

Some random bits and details vvv

- I love Anathra's sock pattern things for no given reason

- Had fun coloring Kit :)

- Deliberately made Scott and Drift not have wings because of their surprise when seeing Avid and Marm's wings

- Devon is just a worm. No legs, no wings. I have decided that he can still fly because he's built different, but just doesn't.

- Just thought it'd be funny for Cam to not have wings

- Fool was the easiest to decide the design for lol

- My favorite one is Quillbee, he's so fuzzy :)))

- You can't really see it in the drawing, but Avid's back leg is mechanical, like Marm's wing

it was hard to choose just one build, so I ended up choosing the build from one of my favorite *episodes* of sbk, which happens to be Avid's Banana For Scale video!! seriously SUCH a good video, and the banana shop is so cute and seemed fun to try to stylize :3

I was rewatching vikings SBK episodes and I'm reminded of a moment early on when viking had so so so so so many chickens and in the most done-with-this voice ever vintage says "There are too clucking many - you're clucking chickens need to clucking die".

That line has lived in my head for 6 months and every time something annoys me my brain says 'theres too clucking many *blank*'
