I enjoy mean asshole Patrick :,)
yes I agree he’s to much and I am aware he’s a bad friend at times
But I think him being an asshole would be the perfect contrast to SpongeBob who is a ray of sunshine and adores people
No squidward doesn’t count because despite his attitude squidward is not an asshole, he’s just a sarcastic guy and gets along fine with people when SpongeBob isn’t around
Patrick on the other hand is a jerk with loveable moments, and I think him being mean could be turned around into a great character arc for him if the show was more serious
Despite this opinion I actually don’t like when fan works make him mean cause not all of them do a good job at this idea, he should be an asshole with awful moments yet is still SpongeBobs friend and cares about him
I’m getting to serious with this but pats my favorite character and EpiPen are always slandering my boy for something that could really be used more creatively in fanworks
He can be the besties bud ever to SpongeBob because they’re super cute
But also.., just let him be a jerk!
