Hey!!! This is a little thing for all my SCAD buddies aaaaand any folks who aren't from SCAD but may be interested Over the summer I'm going to be taking EMBROIDERY COMMISSIONS! Either on pre-fab items (sweatshirts, tshirts, vests, etc) or on handmade (pillows, throws, and other things) I price by size of the design and amount of colors, so we can always talk out what you'd like and see about the cost But yeah if you or anyone you know is interested in both traditional Jewish embroidery, modern embroidery, or hand patterning, let me know!
Miscellaneous sketches, Top drawing was drawn during a SCAD visit by David Barksdale, Blue Sky Lead fur technical director: environmental fur artist of Rio and Rio 2. Awesome guy! Talked about working on generating the forests in Rio and creating feathers and fur. I drew him surrounded by deer creatures...I don’t know why.
Second drawing was made during another SCAD visit by Pixar Lead cloth and simulation technical Director, Fran Kalal. The drawing is not based on Fran Kalal, (so sorry) I was just writing notes and did this after the event just to full space on the page. Her lecture was very interesting, it was on cloth simulation and determining what is best for different types of clothing. Also, she talked a bit about how the production pipeline works at Pixar. (It’s...complex, oh boy)
The remaining drawings are just random doodles here and there...
Miscellaneous sketches Creative Thinking sketches.
Top two sketches were from a project about synesthesia and the theme for my group was describing traffic with touching fabric. I was the designer for creating the concept of the puzzle.
The sketches with the circles was for a artbook assignment. The final you can see here and here!
The last six drawings and moodboard were for an assignment where students have to create artwork representing a concept, book, music, or place. I chose the Time Machine by H. G. Wells and made it into a diorama. I’ll post the final diorama soon.
casually has the creator of The Huffington Post email.....given to me from Arriana Huffington herself. I love my school.
