“Anybody freakin’ home?” It’s sing-song, playful, and she kicks the door shut behind her. Gently. Mostly. The apartment is nice, but Sar’s on a mission, and she’s not about to pause to take in the decor.
“Ryan, get your ass out here so I can kick it from here to Noveria!”

He likes the starboard observation lounge for a lot of reasons, but mostly, it’s because there’s very little foot traffic. Not that Kaidan minds company -- at least, not enough to get cranky about it most of the time -- it’s only that with so much going on, so much pressing down on them all, it’s nice to have a place to clear his head. Nice to have a place to do reports, too, that’s not in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the rest of the crew. Maybe it’s not entirely private, but it works well enough.
Having an AI running the ship means that nothing’s ever going to be completely private again, he supposes, but he has to admit that it’s nice when he wants conversation without having to get up and look for it. Once, EDI had asked him why he always glanced to the ceiling when speaking to her, and he hadn’t had an answer outside of that it seemed polite.
Kaidan’s pretty sure she’s amused by him, too, so it all works out in the wash.
Still, as much as he likes the solitude from time to time, he’s feeling a little restless. He activates his omnitool, scrolling through his messages, and after a moment’s thought, taps one out to the commander.
