Ora stumbled through the forest, her armor in tatters and her beloved RAM helmet left within the City walls, shattered and broken beyond repair now. She held her sidearm close as she tried to keep in stride with herself. She had to get out of here and find other survivors.
She felt frail, empty and not quite right as she held out her hand and tried to spawn in a vortex grenade. And when nothing came, her heart began to race and she balled her hand into a fist. She’d been walking for so long now that all the trees of this forest began to look the same.
“Everything... Everything is gone...”
She paused and looked around, weakly calling out in a vain attempt to contact someone who may be near.
“Hello? Anyone alive out there?”
A Blunder of Titles
(Closed starter for @void-storm ) The Captain had been travelling in search of other Houses for months now; his own House having become lethargic and lacked the tenacity it once had. He would not sit idly by while his Kell wasted away, nor would he partake in the House any longer. His armour was dull, having lost all sheen and lustre by the Captains own hand, scraping away the purple and white until he was all but grey. He had abandoned the fur cloaks in favour of unmarked brown hoods, signalling either that he was exiled, or a nomad. After a time he sat beneath an old Spruce tree to rest, gathering his items from his bag, and prepared to make a fire.
"Symphony, yes? Do you like Eliksni? Do you wish for my extinction?"
She looked to the large Captain and her antennae flicked in curiosity. She seemed to bounce on her heels a bit and make a heart shape with her hands.
Aksus had left within an hour, riding his pike at top speeds through his quickest routes, unaware or simply ignoring the Fallen House of Devils that assailed him as he went. As he approached the city, he could see plumes of smoke and fire rising high into the atmosphere. The great machine hung in the sky, though even without his binoculars, he could see it was injured. Massive Cabal ship's filled the sky, and Aksus could feel doubt about his friends survival in his chest.
Ora crumpled at the bottom of the tower, robes burned and covered in ash as she grit her teeth. That fall was not going to feel good later. Her Lord High Fixer lay broken in disrepair a few feet away and the horns of her RAM shattered.
Ripping the helmet off the screams and scent of... Burning... Met her. It was something only her nightmare’s could have reproduced and for a moment, she was frozen. Motionless and terrified... Like she had been only once before.
She had to save them... Had to get them out of here. And yet, she remained still. Wide eyed and trembling like a newborn deer trying to maintain its footing. She wasn’t going anywhere.

Just kissing and fishing
Ora muffles a chuckle and hugs onto Aksus, pressing a little kiss to the side of his face.
“You’re such a goof.”
@scarfallen
Ora walked through the expanse of the Cosmodrome without a dose of fear on her face. With a few words to Geist, her personal signal was being transmitted. She knew he would find her now.
She wanted nothing more than to see him... It had been far too long and she had been missing his company. His touch. Him. With a little breath she sat herself down atop the scrap of a car, eyes scanning the partially snow covered expanse of sparse grass and concrete.
“You really miss him huh?”
Geist asked gently as he hovered near Ora.
“That obvious?”
“More than obvious.”
