                         eyes blink through the h a r s h  fluorescent light of the           station,  convinced  that  they  must somehow  be seeing things           wrong. why ELSE  would  ISAAC,  the  man she’d left behind in           europe when the responsibility of her sister had fallen  h e a v y           on  her  shoulders,  be  walking  into  the   BEACON   COUNTY            sheriff  department  on  the  heals of the sheriff’s son? it leaves           c o n f u s i o n  to  cloud  her features, mouth suddenly dry as           she  looks  up  from  her  desk , WONDERING if he’ll recognize           her, WONDERING if she wants him to.

               the spanish sun kisses her skin, w a r m i n g her to the core even as it      sinks down below the horizon,  swallowed into the OCEAN’S endless depths.      it leaves c o l o r s , a dazzling vibrance of hues,  to DANCE across the sand,      staining the  girl’s  cheeks  with  an  e t h e r e a l  glow. the flash of her eyes,      and LAUGHTER pierces the air, loud and boisterous as though she does not      care  w h o  hears,  as though she is past judgement. she has COME here to      run away, and now that she’s found a  k i n d r e d  spirit  in  her  plight,  her       heart feels fit to SOAR with her newfound freedom. 

                        “ come on, just ONE more round. i can handle it, and you don’t      even look b u z z e d yet! the night’s just gotten STARTED! “

sTILES JUST ORDERED THE BUNK BEDS I’M

&ooc.       but also imagine this: melissa and john deciding to move in together when the boys go off for college, so they come home for thanksgiving break and there’s a for sale sign in the front of scott’s yard. they’re so afraid of the reaction they might get but stiles just asks if they’re too old for bunk beds because they’ve been waiting for this since they were like t h i r t e e n!
