I had a dream where I was cat sitting for my sister but her house was different. It was like wide instead of long and all the windows faced out the back without any blinds or curtains.

So I'm getting ready for bed, chasing down a kitten (new, unnamed, orange) to put him in baby jail for the night, when I suddenly get the feeling I'm being watched. It's too dark to see out the window, but I just know that if I turn on the backyard light there's gonna be dozens of murky figures standing just on the edge of the light and I will just barely be able to see their scary faces. But then Trixie is squaring up to annihilate this new kitten (who has been bugging her incessantly), and I'm like, "Trixie has the scariest face of all, huh?" And I scoop up the kitten, and Trixie is like, "ur goddamn right."

The kitten gets penned, and I'm spending time with the big cats, with Trixie on my lap and Toby sitting nearby, both purring, getting scritches, etc. But then I get that feeling again.

I move Trixie aside, and she behaves, I guess because she notices my alertness, and I sneak over to the window. There's gonna be so many eerie, gray, scary faces out there. I just know it. But maybe they'll fuck off when I turn on the light? Idk. So I hit the switch.

There is a scary face. One. A weird, shitty, red-orange foam rubber mask with a nasty black wig hanging on the corner of one of the patio chairs. Lame, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't there before.

I turn off the light and I'm not sure if I can still see it, or if I just know where it is and my brain thinks I can see it. But I gotta watch my feet because Toby has engaged zoomies mode. Eventually I manage to get to bed, and I do my nails, and go to sleep.

The next day my nails are all smeared and awful and there's black nail polish all over the sheets and I think, "I dunno, that consequence is too realistic for this dream..." And then I actually wake up.

Here's some super rough doodles of them, also slapped some colour on it but that might change! Thinking on making his horns more metallic since it's supposed to be his halo fused to his head... ANYWAY

He usually has the face on the right most of the time, but he still wears a mask (which I didn't draw because I'm still designing it oops).

He'll switch to his typical scary face whenever he's messing around and scaring people (he's aware that humans are usually afraid of humanoid creatures with that impossible anatomy), or when he's doing his dirty work. Or if he's in a bad mood! It usually keeps people away from him. Sometimes he sleeps with it too, which is odd because he has no eyelids

I am so sorry his hair is all over the place, let's say it's incomprehensible to the human mind... It actually supposed to be flowing constantly but I always have to make things fluffy, no self control

He's supposed to have his usual markings on his face, I just got lazy...

Thank you for asking about him!! I love him so much and I'm loving his design so far, really excited about him!
