A exasperated sigh fell from Brady’s mouth, hands tugging at the ends of his hair. He couldn’t exactly remember the way this fight started, his mind was fogged and all he knew was that the two of them were standing here back at it again. “Why don’t you hate me?” He questioned, his tone raising in annoyance. It wasn’t directed at Hayden, although it may have looked like it, more so at the situation the two somehow ended up in again. It must’ve started with Brady forgetting something, wether it be one of her shows or to pick her up, he couldn’t remember at the moment. What he could remember was the pain and disappointment stricken look on her face when she had arrived to see him with a half grin on his face and a blunt in his hand. “I’ve given you every reason to hate me and quite bluntly, not a lot of reasons for you to do anything but hate me.” He turned away from the girl, his fist crashing into the brick wall in front of him, the pain going numb from his thoughts only a moment later. They stayed like that for a moment, panting was the only noise that broke it’s heavy silence. “Honestly, why can’t you just hate me?” Brady pleaded, his body turning around to face her once more. “It would make everything easier.. Just hate me.” His fingers vigorously rubbed against his temples with the hopes of his headache melting away. He wasn’t sure if he meant what he said - of course, it would be easier. In the way there would be no more fighting, no more worrying, no more wondering why the hell someone like her would stay with him. But then there wouldn’t be the late night talks, the way she made him laugh over nothing, and even the simple joy of getting to look at her, really admire her, and know that for whatever lapse of judgement she had, he was able to call her his girlfriend. So, yes, it would be easier in some cases, however in every subject that mattered, it would leave him with a void. Which is why he would finish the night wondering why he had ever said that to her.
