Pbbbt thank you so much.... I can’t help but feel a little whiny for ranting about my problems like that but rest assured I won’t be doing any more strenuous things for tonight! I’ll have to clean again tomorrow because that’s just How It Is with animals but I’m allowing myself to just lay down and not do much until then, heh.

Ahhhh thank you all so much for the good vibes!!!!!!! I thought it went pretty well, all things considered, heh. I mean, I might have been a bit too shy but like, I was doing something completely out of my comfort zone (I’m literally not used to be touched by other people!) so if you keep that in mind... I think I did pretty well!

He hasn’t contacted me at all today but I’m not going to blow his phone up or like, feel bad about it because as far as I know, that can mean a few, different things:

1) He’s taking his time, which is fine and I respect it. I also don’t like feeling obligated to text people every day.

2) He didn’t think we were compatible for one reason or another, which I’m also fine with, I want to be with someone who accepts me even if with my shyness and “quirky” personality (aka, my neurodivergent-ness) and if those are dealbreakers to him then we wouldn’t work out anyway.

3) He’s doing one of those “let’s see who cracks first >:)” things people do to find out if someone is really interested, and if he is, I think we’re not very compatible anyway, I’m terrible at unspoken social things like that. I can barely conceptualize saying one thing and meaning another!

Telly. I would very much like to know the title of this cool creepy story you referenced in that one post about hyperfocus. I am always on the lookout for cool creepy stories!

It’s called The Interface Series! Basically, someone made a Reddit account and used it to reply to random threads from April to June 2016 talking about mysterious objects called Flesh Interfaces that can only be constructed by groups of people who have been exposed to hallucinogenic drugs. The posts seem disconnected at first but soon begin to form a clearer (and very spooky) narrative! It’s a long read and I’m still in the middle of it, but it has definitely caught my attention, heh. Fair warning, there’s a lot of fantastic body horror in it, so it’s something to watch out for if it bothers you!
