Ahhhh thank you all so much for the good vibes!!!!!!! I thought it went pretty well, all things considered, heh. I mean, I might have been a bit too shy but like, I was doing something completely out of my comfort zone (I’m literally not used to be touched by other people!) so if you keep that in mind... I think I did pretty well!

He hasn’t contacted me at all today but I’m not going to blow his phone up or like, feel bad about it because as far as I know, that can mean a few, different things:

1) He’s taking his time, which is fine and I respect it. I also don’t like feeling obligated to text people every day.

2) He didn’t think we were compatible for one reason or another, which I’m also fine with, I want to be with someone who accepts me even if with my shyness and “quirky” personality (aka, my neurodivergent-ness) and if those are dealbreakers to him then we wouldn’t work out anyway.

3) He’s doing one of those “let’s see who cracks first >:)” things people do to find out if someone is really interested, and if he is, I think we’re not very compatible anyway, I’m terrible at unspoken social things like that. I can barely conceptualize saying one thing and meaning another!

the end of that movie is godawful and they usually start sunny like ~2-3 minutes after the hour. just a heads up so you don’t have to sit through the gross ending

Oh yeah, I’ve Heard. Honestly, that’s pretty much why finishing it isn’t all that high of a priority for me (I’ve started and stopped watching it like... two years ago or so.) I mean, I can’t recall seeing anything too bad in the eps I saw, but I’ve been told it got kinda weird with its young female characters. The usual low brow comedy anime bullshit by what I’ve been able to tell, but still... I can only take this sort of thing VERY sparingly.

nitpick culture sucks because it makes people who don’t really know what they’re doing quite yet strive for perfection and makes them frustrated more and more likely to give up it SUCKS

like yeah when you’re a professional and getting paid maybe it’s ok to nitpick a little but when you’re still learning?? as long as it works and you’re improving i don’t see why you should pick something apart so much

I mean I’m fully aware this thing isn’t perfect, it’s only my 3rd real attempt at a functional 3D rig, but I’m also not gaining a whole lot by spending all this time trying to get it up to feature film standard when I could be moving into and learning the later stages of setting this up and then starting a whole new project. In the meantime I’m getting held back by going over minor details instead of just learning what I’m supposed to be, which is rigging the damn thing. I’m just wasting time and learning nothing.
