amidst all of the city’s hustle and bustle, Toska had been rather elated to see something familiar. a goat-like creature, it seemed, grazing peacefully in a patch of grass. it was still different than anything he’d ever seen, but it was still more comforting than the cars and other vehicles that roared on the highways. the troll had been staring at it for some time, head cocked to the side, before he decided to approach it.
sometimes goats were used as transportation where he was from, so maybe he could use it to get where he needed to go?
however, trying to mount the creature was not a good idea. the goat immediately bucked him off, sending him crashing down to the ground in front of it.
“Ow, ow, ow--”

When he opened his eyes, there was confusion. And then—memory. It poured into his mind like water, filling spaces that he was never aware were empty. There was a man like a spider, a woman with long purple hair, a dog that was not quite a dog. He remembered chaos, fire, a race through a grocery store. Polka dots and a festival of lights. A city that wasn’t his, but was. He remembered a girl with a kind smile and looped braids, remembered her scolding him and comforting him, remembered her understanding him in the way only his family ever seemed to. He remembered her, her name, her name was—
❝ Rey. ❞ The word was barely audible as it passed Damian’s lips, and in an instant, he was gone. Fleet feet found themselves racing down alleyways, gloved hands climbing fire escapes, boots leaping from rooftop to rooftop. He could not say how long he ran, but before he knew it, he found himself standing in the shadows outside of a garage, lurking on the fringes of the light pooling from the open doorway. And for a moment, he hesitated, uncertainty flickering across his face. For though he now remembered, remembered all the time he had spent living in the Hive, some details were still fuzzy. How long had passed since he’d left, if Rey would remember him in turn, if she was even still here. Would she even want to see him? Anxiety twisted itself up through his body, blocking his throat and momentarily taking his breath away. And yet. He wanted to see her.
A hesitant step was taken into the light, and another, and another, until finally Damian Wayne found himself standing behind the girl he had called a sister, masked eyes watching her as she bent over the engine of whatever contraption she was working on.
❝ Rey. ❞ Her name was repeated, softly. ❝ It is... me. Robin. ❞

Rays of Harmony: Featuring a sparkling Spirit Quartz in oxidized copper, with soft brown-gray Moonstone on one side and an introspective window on the other. Inside the window are seven dried Lavender flower buds and a clear Tourmaline crystal, and two words cut from an old book: "harmony, peace". May you find calm within and radiate energy and the wisdom of the Moon out into the world. ✨🌕💜

From what the directories said, ‘Facet Five’ was located in Sector 6. It seemed a bit out of place considering he was visiting what he assumed would be a weapon dealer’s establishment—but to be fair, it was apparently far more than that. Whatever the case was, the verdant (and peaceful) setting was a nice change of pace from the cramped streets of Sector 4, or the outright hostile ones of Sector 3.
Corvo walks through the doors to see a nearly endless expanse of technology hanging from almost every conceivable surface, most of it utterly alien to his eyes.
It’s almost overwhelming, but Corvo bites down on his curiosity and approaches the sole occupant of the store, a young woman struggling with some arcane-looking piece of machinery.
“Good afternoon, miss. Are you the owner of this establishment?”

「 Lots of strange things happen in this city, you’ve found. With no way out of the city, it has become your odd, and dangerous home. Today, you’ve learned that you should expect just about anything. Flying vending food dispensers, or “vending machines” being one of them. A shadow flies over you, catching your attention, effectively waking your half asleep ass up. The intended target seems to have been missed and- Oh god. Oh god, oh god oh god. You watch the object begin to descend- and it’s heading right for that girl minding her own business. This is stupid. This is beyond fucking stupid, and you’re probably going to die. But you aren’t about to watch that human get splattered, your assumption being they haven’t noticed something RATHER LARGE is about to fall on them.」
「 You run as fast as your stumpy little legs will carry you, and jump to push her out of the way. Luckily, you aren’t hit by the vending machine, something that no doubt would kill you instantly. However, you cannot be sure of the other’s safety. Your anger comes to a boil quickly, and it’s your first instinct to give the offender a piece of your mind. 」
“HOLY FUCK WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU? DO YOU EVEN FUCKING HAVE A THINKPAN TO PROCESS WHAT YOU’RE DOING OR DO YOU JUST FUCKING USE THAT THING ON YOUR SHOULDERS AS A GLORIFIED SHOE LOCKER? ACTUALLY GO GET BENT!!!”
「 It seems he has ignored you in favor of chasing his intended target. You hesitate to look to the person you attempted to save- oh god. Please don’t be dead. 」
“ARE YOU OKAY?”

He sits on a chair fiddling with the new recently bought film that he'd gotten for himself for his camera. Rey stands, wrench in hand as she tinkers away at one thing or another. Prompto's never been for watching people work on cars ( except for Cindy, but that's different ) so this hadn't been what he was expecting when Rey had invited him over. Still, though, it's nice and relatively easy to relax in an atmosphere like this. Feet swing back and forth for a couple moments before he finally speaks up. "Hey, Rey? Have you ever taken a picture before?"
"Like had one of yourself taken."
