What elements can show us. Studio Ghibli's legacy did not focus on the aesthetics alone but on how these aesthetics communicate to the wider audience. My friend whom I brought with me to visit the Ghibli Tribute Exhibit by the Sketchbook Challenge Cebu at the iioffice innocently stated that whenever she watches Ghibli films she often get emotionally affected even if she sometimes cannot fully understand some of the films' deeper imagery. Captured? Enamored? I don't know but the feeling might have been the same for everyone who appreciates Ghibli.
