Hi there I have a question, if you are participating in a collection and it has a date when will be open to read. (I mean there is collection/bing... (or something like that) and it has date, you have time till that to upload your works, and after that date the collection will be no longer hidden, everybody can read it) The question : when the collection become open and the fics will be no longer hidden will they act like you just posted it at that moment? Thank you (I hope I wasn't confusing)

Whatever day you post to the collection is the date on the work. So if you add your fic to the collection on October 1 and the collection is revealed October 25th, your fic will still be dated October 1 and will be three weeks back in the tag. 

Gift notifications go out on the day the collection is revealed. In my example above, anyone who receives a gift will get the email on October 25th.

Subscription notification will go out on the day that authors are revealed. So if authors aren’t revealed until October 31st, then anyone who subscribes to you as an author will get that email on October 31st. 

To deal with the posting date issue, a lot of authors will edit their fics to change the posting date after the collection is revealed. The Archive doesn’t allow you to future-date your fic, so you’ll have to wait until the day of to do that.
