Listening to "for promotion only" in my car for the first time. It's always a weird experience, to listen to sounds you know veryyy well on a car sound system (that you don't modify to suit your fancy). The spatialization is all wrong, there's too much subs, the mids are a little messy and deafened. BUT, at the same time, it's immersive, makes commuting and traffic 1000% more okay, and it's a very good way to make new people discover new artists. Anyway... Damn, the bass lines of LeRoy and Bartellow are so deep that they are like, weird fishes in the deep seas kinda deep. Also, man. This CD is definitely a great way to catch the attention of new listeners. It's the perfect balance between just enough amount of "huh? Weird stuff!" and "so damn groovy!!". Great job, SMS.
