My old ex manager promised me 20+ hours a week, my availability was from 4am-4pm EVERY DAY except Sunday. I worked 4 hours (of janitorial, I was hired as shipment) EVERY SINGLE WEEK for like THREE MONTHS. In the end I literally could not go in on black Friday (I was threatened by my ex boyfriends sister) and so I just texted my manager that I quit. I got the last laugh, assholes.
Good riddance! Let that place screw over someone else’s hours who don’t care or don’t want to work as much. Hopefully you found a job after that that actually works with your hours and was willing to give more than 4 hours a week of work you weren’t even hired for.
Sounds like we got a nominee for Worst Manager of the Year on our hands!
