Introducing Marshall and Schizo, a pair of Schizolites from Herkimer’s court. The two work as entertainers and servants, but Marshall is from Era 2 and Schizo is from Era 1. They’re both based off the D’arby bros from Stardust Crusaders. Of course.
Marshall enjoys playing video games (most of them stolen from the humans of Nericora-4) and teaching the gems visiting him how to play. He considers himself an expert at all games, and considering that most gems who know him aren’t as familiar with video games as he is, they believe him. (he’d probably get stuck while playing cuphead or something like that tho) Marshall always seems to have his eyes closed, and yet he can still see the screen, and the gems he talks to. He refuses to look at anyone with his eyes open, as he’s worried he’ll scare them off.
You may be wondering how Schizo’s gem got chipped. He used to be very good at playing all sorts of card games, and poker was his favorite. He was a horrible cheater, unlike Marshall. He would often invite well known rebel gems to play against him, and whoever was the loser had to be poofed, leaving themselves at the mercy of the gem who won. Naturally, since he cheated, he’d gotten quite the collection of bubbled gems in his facility. A certain “Diamond” challenged him to a round of poker, and caught on to his deception. He chipped his gem as punishment, and soon enough, he won the game. Schizo, horrified that he let himself lose like this, nearly corrupted himself with stress over losing the game. He was afraid the “diamond” he’d played against would go the extra mile and shatter him to pieces. Said “diamond” poofed him and then left him in the hands of Spectrolite, so she could take care of him.
