just some older concept pieces & WIPs of the Doctor for my PPT AU "Schlafmohn" while I'm still working on my MD commissions & I don't wanna content-starve my blog pff
Him & 1006 trying to get along (1006 ate all of the chess pieces) <3 I love it when old men
Sawyer in the AU is almost the same in terms of personality and history with the company, though I slightly altered his design more to exaggerate animalistic/feral elements such as the tail & spine spikes.
His concept art had him walk hunched over and appear on all 4s so uh... feral Sawyer! Looks like being turned into an experiment also alters the state of mind. Human!Sawyer would've never crawled LMAO
In this AU 1006 holds a copy of Elliot Ludwig's personality, consciousness and memories (as well as knowledge) so Sawyer strikes a deal with him to gain his trust and hopefully backstab him one day for the knowledge inside of him, teehee.
god I love this man so much he's evil and rotten but I can't help but to throw myself across the room whenever I think off him he's so babygirl
watch me turn vilains into my personal bbgs through the power of autism
Elliot Ludwig's biggest achievement, a machine capable of holding a person's consciousness, memories and knowledge, strong suited and willing to defend it's guarded inheritage. Initially constructed in the mid 1980's, 1006's existence would soon prove to be of great use for Elliot.
More information & details about the design down below! This is all just information/trivia for my Papaver Somniferum AU, so it is not intended to be canon/canon adjacent! ->
Having landed in the crosshair of none other than Dr. Sawyer after successfully inventing a formular of the Poppy Gel that holds the ability to bring back deceased consciousnesses and elongate a person's lifespan, Elliot felt constantly paranoid, insecure and followed.
He created 1006 in order to upload a copy of his own consciousness into the machine, creating a back-up of not only all of his memories but also the research of the Poppy Gel and it's actual components. This was to ensure that no one would ever gain access to this unless they've proven to be responsible with the great power they'd be holding with the recipe.
Furious, Dr. Sawyer eventually tried his best to work with 1006 after Elliot's death, first by torturing the machine and breaking it's mind enough to spill every information needed - and later on by working with it, acting as an alley while overlooking the fact that any bruteforcing would permanentely delete anything stored in 1006's mind/memory.
The design is intended to not resemble one specific creature. The skull is essentially lab-grown and not that of an actual animal. It is instead inspired by many, such as canines, horses and cats. Same with the rest of the body.
INFORMATION.
-> Arms tucked in front of it's chest if not in use. This is both to hide/protect the heart and also for convientions sake.
-> Little tuft of fur at the end of spine which simulates a tail. Cannot be moved.
-> Walking rythm is similar to that of a spider thanks to it's eight legs.
-> Speaks with a slight british accent due to Elliot's heritage. It's leg click when it walks, similar to the noises heard during the Prototype's appearance in Chapter 4.
-> Eyes on the skeleton may glow and it appears to look around. Cannot physically move, it's just the glow itself.
-> The skeleton on it's back is a copy of Elliot's and not his actual skeleton. No one knows how it even got there.
-> Incredibly smart. It has borders it wont cross for moral's sake, but will use it's intelligence to bruteforce it's way if need be.
-> Fond of children and the orphaned experiments. Doesn't cause them harm, let alone scare them off.
-> "Works" with Sawyer to keep him in check and away from the experiments most of the time.
-> Despite it's calm demeanor 1006 is not above cracking jokes and lightening the mood.
-> 1006 is NOT Elliot himself, it is merely a copy of his consciousness and it's aware of this fact. 1006 doesn't see itself as Elliot.
-> Can use it or he pronouns, 1006 doesn't really care.
-> Hangs out with Rorschach from time to time and takes walks with her. He's aware of Elliot's connection with her former human self... shhh. Spoilers.
doey the doughman & craftycorn my shaylas... ughh my shaylas...
faithful to almost all of my AU designs for ppt characters Doey also got one B] he's a bit different from the og Doey in terms of not only design, but also personality.
Unlike the Doey we meet in the og, this one never created "Safe Haven" outright - he insteads has his "hunting grounds" around the Prison & yard area, protecting weaker toys here and there, but has no boundaries in who he hunts if they're not in his immediate guardian cycle.
He rarely speaks and keeps to himself as Jack & Matthew struggle to keep Kevin at bay when he's against someone posing a threat or even potential for arguments, which causes him to be way more isolated.
Some Rorschach/Molly & 1006/Elliot sketches bc my mind couldn't be taken off those two AUGHH.
so uh yeah haha surprise, Rorschach is supposed to be Molly who's Elliot's wife, causing even more strain on certain relationships between characters later on. they're my shaylas and I even started a written prequel about their relationship within the Schlafmohn AU teehee 👉👈(don't mind me spelling Elliot's name wrong on the drawing)
A one layer painting of Sawyer I finished impulsively on Sunday during an Artjam with friends, pff. Had to clear my mind a bit after working on the comms during the week.
I gave him an altered design for my AU, primarily based off of the old concept art done by Robert Koh showing Sawyer hunched over and even walking on four legs, which inspired me a lot.
Fused with some additions like the tail (inspired by the Xenomorph designs) and the spine extentions I think this AU design will work perfectly with my characterisation for the Doctor :]
He's such a cool character and done well in terms of writing, even if his initial appearance in ch.4 seemed a bit under utilised - the future patches though really helped to make him seem way scarier and threatening >:]
I'm also working on a human design & concept art for the AU design, though these are low priority rn as I'm still working on the commissions for now. So here's the painting of him!
Hoppy, my beloved... mah shayla... she deserved to get an AU design for my Papaver Somniferum AU, and I think she fits just right into the whole group surrounding Doey. >:]
Hoppy in this AU still retains her tomboy-ish appearance, sporting a more anthropormorphic, bipedal body type that is reminiscent of the thin build other Bigger Bodies of the Smiling Critters such as DogDay and CatNap presented. There's more about her below the cut!
Hoppy's personality is pretty excentric before the Hour of Joy happened and dragged them all kind of down with it. She's honest, running her mouth however she sees fit and was known for talking back to the staff and scientists.
Other than most Bigger Bodies her consciousness, nervous system and brain are entirely lab-grown. She was trained and essentially shaped by the scientist in hopes of creating way more obedient, time-efficient Bigger Bodies for the factory with a lowered mortality rate, seeing how a lot of the latest experiments either lost their sapience or straight up died after a short while.
This wasn't done out of ethics or even feeling bad for using humans, it was rather something they saw fit in order to minimize their losses and increase their profits. Because during those times, the initiative burned more funding than it made back in profits of cutting down worker costs and salaries.
Hoppy is aware of where she comes from, often making remarks and jokes about it - but beware of making the same jokes yourself around her. She usually doesn't tolerate them.
Despite all, Hoppy maintained a good relationship with her fellow Smiling Critters BBs, especially with Bobby, who - like Hoppy - got a lab-grown consciousness implanted after the first Bigger Body failed.
After the Hour of Joy, the Critters mostly survived the whole ordeal, though Bobby got fatally wounded by a staff member during the highpoint of the riots. While most normal staff tried to flee, the scientists actually gave it their best to kill as many experiments as they could to minimize their work and gathered information. Though this did little, as they killed less than a dozen experiments (out of hundreds) before being wiped out themselves.
Mournfull, Hoppy's demeanor started to change, especially after the factory turned into a constant battle ground for food and power - mainly in the prison area, where she resides with Doey, staying at his side as a sort of "second in command" next to Crafty (who she fucking hates for good reasons).
im exploding each and every one of these men with my mind
some sketched portraits for the human characters & how I imagine them teehee :3c needed some practice bc I haven't drawn a lot in a hot minute after finishing the two shaded comms
toodaloo right back at commission work i shall go after these o/
also find some headcanons & info stuff about each of these creachures below the "read more" pretty pleaseee (most of it is related to my Papaver Somniferum AU)
i have so many thoughts about these men in my mind they're bad evil people but gawdDAMN i cant stop thinking about them
Harley Sawyer
Born in 1933, trained neurosurgeon, 60 years old at the time of him being turned into experiment 1354. He may not look like it at first glance, but his demeanor and ego is exactly what made him so unloved within his own circles. Sawyer's extremely egotistical, sees himself above all (even if he's not correct in something) and his demeanor is extremely toxic.
He's basically making work miserable for everyone around him through harsh demands and perfectionism while never holding himself to the same standard, which causes friction.
Leith Pierre
Leith's similar to Sawyer in regards of him being very cocky. He prides himself on a lot of things and isn't shy to put his name into the credits of someone else's work, especially after Elliot's passing and him becoming the CEO of the company. He's pushing his position a LOT and loves to hover over people to oversee their work... and yeah, you guessed it, pretend like he had contributed any workforce to it.
He's basically Sawyer's ego but less prone to violence or experimentation, since he himself keeps his hands clean from any blood, which he also uses as some sort of argument that he was innocent regarding the Bigger Bodies project despite his knowledge and active participation behind the scenes.
Eddie Ritterman
Eddie's cold and disconnected demeanor from most people around him comes in part from his inability to see value in human life, sometimes even regarding his own. He's very withdrawn from people and always looks like he doesn't want to be in the room with anyone, even those he deems his "closest business partners". He's not above violence and threatening people, or even getting physical with those that might be a danger to the project. He has no regard for the victims of the project and the second he overhears someone being unsure he's the first to make the suggestion of murder.
Bruno White
While not innocent of the crimes committed through his actions, Dr. White appears to be more emotional over the happenings in the Bigger Bodies initiative. While he still follows every order given and actively participates, there's a twinge of consciousness behind his eyes and mind that is missing in any of the other people besides Stella. He secretly envies her for speaking her doubts aloud, though he's aware of him being no better than Dr. Sawyer in regards to operating and experimenting on children.
