Hey Starteas, I hope you’re doing well. I saw your story and bluesky not too long ago and I just wanted to say i’m so sorry you have to go through this stuff. Being a writer for a show is already hard enough and you don’t deserve any of the backlash you’ve received, you are an amazing artist, writer and so much more. I hope you find a bit more peace from the well deserved break, and whenever you decide to come back, i’m sure many of us will be here to support you ❤️ (sorry if this is written poorly)

My break is really only extending to TikTok, and I’m not exactly active on Bluesky much anyways aside from keeping it up for commissioners or posting art. The toxicity had just gotten too much for me to handle, and a lot of realizations I’ve had made it clear to me I wasn’t treated like a person, nor was my work respected.
I’m glad to be sticking to my small circle and only really drawing fanart of my favorite characters, but I can’t deny it’s not a little heartbreaking. I suppose that’s my fault for being naive and assuming the nature of fandom would be kinder than it turned out to be.
