Yuri
another last unicorn post for the masses (me + the other 2 people thinking about this movie in 2025 💖)
couple of screencap redraws where i had a lot of fun pushing the facial expressions and playing with my dolls !! the hands in this movie are so expressive (and the faces less so. lol)
Have some Schmendrick too.

What’s that feeling when you don’t want to date someone but want to BE them? It could be GENDER GOALS!
This is something I’d struggled with for nearly my entire life and I thank the trans community for putting this into words for me. It wouldn’t be the first time either! <-both comic links on this post are SFW
As a bonus I also drew this "Jey Timeline"
My visual shorthand that I usually use for flashbacks, etc.
[ID: “Gender Goals” a comic by Jey Pawlik, is done in mint greens and choppy black lineart.
Narration: As a kid I watched The Last Unicorn a LOT.
A young Jey with long hair is sitting in front of an old CRT TV watching The Last Unicorn. On the screen The Unicorn ponders “What do men know? Because they have seen no unicorns for a while does not mean that we have all vanished. We do not vanish. There has never been a time without unicorns.” The TV scenes are done in a cool blue colour with a static texture overlayed on top.
Jey’s mum pokes her head in with a “!!” and is excited about this development. She flutters around little Jey and says “OH! You’re watching the unicorn movie again? Something CUTE?! Something GIRLY?! Ohhh~ I’m so happy!” much to little Jey’s annoyance. The background behind them has turned from Jey’s usual green to purple with a floral pattern.
Narration: But it wasn’t the unicorn I liked best.
The movie now shows The Unicorn and Schmendrick the Magician walking together. The Unicorn says “You may come with me if you like. Though I wish you’d asked for some other reward for having freed me.”
Schmendrick responds “Well, I thought about it. But you could never have granted my true wish.”
The Unicorn says “No. I cannot turn you into something you are not. I cannot turn you into a true magician.”
A ribbon obscures the bottom with the text: Read the rest on Oh Joy Sex Toy
"A Jey Timeline", a digital illustration of eight portraits of Jey at different ages: 3-6 with a bowl cut, 7-11 wearing big glasses and a long ponytail, 12-15 nervous without glasses wearing braces and short choppy greasy hair, 16-19 concerned with longer shoulder length hair, 20-23 smiling and wearing small glasses and a short shaggy hairstyle, 24-27 smiling and wearing the same small glasses but their hair is neat and tidy and shorter, 28-32 wearing their usual big rectangular glasses and shorter hair with a bigger smile, and 33+ when they've started on T and are sporting small bits of facial hair and a few greys in their even shorter hair. "My go-to's for my autobio comics." /end]
Whatever, go my cringe ass wizard!
There's no way he actually has this much game, I just thought of the pose and couldn't get it out of my head >///< I'm still not totally decided on a self insert idea, but my thought is maybe she was sold to Mommy Fortuna as a child and basically been a servant/stable girl in the traveling show her whole life (toying with the idea of her trying to learn magic as well) she's a pretty young woman by the time Schmendrick joins up and they end up getting pretty close I think and goes along on the adventure with Amalthea and Molly Grue
Soooo we all see it right???
I rewatched The Last Unicorn with some friends and this was created as a result
