i'm glad i know what's coming after this. jensen did a really good job with that scene.

i liked castiel with a personality. aside from the very awkward scene about the orgy. but otherwise!
some of his speechifying felt clunky to me but he did good selling it as someone else, for the most part. the constant lightning and thunder reminded me of when morpheus is telling neo about the past in the construct

(lol) the music makes me think of the movie 12 monkeys. i think because of the song sleep walk by santo & johnny ??? it's so different from the usual original score on this show (which i'm very meh about generally). it gives me coming home vibes haha oh god the brainrot

and that hero shot of dean looking just about into the camera that they bust out occasionally. like the one time with the slow zoom and the sun flare, except that time it was an uncomfortable amount of eye contact please stop staring at me dean you're making my hands sweat
