upon entering this strange new world, the first thing on the leader’s mind was to find the rest of her team. not that they needed her to survive or that they had to stick together... it was just -- ruby always felt like she could tackle anything the universe could throw at her as long as she was with her team. perhaps it was a bit selfish of her to want them back together because well, with familiarity no where in sight, she longed for a piece of home. so ruby does as a hope-struck girl does, and roams the districts for any sign of any of them.
quick glances are thorough and serve to cover as much ground and sky as necessary. hey, she could never be too sure. and with worry plastered on her face as the morning crowd begins to form, ruby’s desperate. — that is, until she eyes a familiar flash of white and blue with a cup of coffee sitting besides a window of the sunflower cafe. immediately, silver eyes widen with delight as she presses her face against the glass between them.
❛ weiss! WEISS !! i can’t believe it’s you and not someone that looks like you! ❜ though her voice muffled is by the glass, as her feet does a little dance, her excitement was clear as day. and even if weiss couldn’t completely understand what she was saying, there was no denying that ruby was so relieved to see the other. ❛ stay right there, i’m coming in! ❜ aura activating her semblance, ruby dashes her way inside the cafe, leaving rose petals that she no doubt had to clean up later. slowing to take a seat across from the other, she beams innocently. ❛ hey @schneeflake! ❜
