Adventures in Librarian-ing
Today was Field Day at the elementary school I work at, which basically means there were a bunch of different activities inside and in the soccer field of the school for the kids to participate in.
The Grade 6s in particular had an extra activity where they went around to various staff members handing out slips of paper letting the staff know the student thought the staff member embodied this or that attribute.
I got 7 slips with 6 attributes from students.
All slips started with "Give this to a staff who" followed by the attribute below.
The ones I got were:
...is always there to help
...turns mistakes into opportunities to learn
...explains things in a way that finally makes sense (x2)
...inspires you to be your best
...believes in you, even when you don't believe in yourself
...makes a difference in so many ways
