nate schott for @schottofwinn
God, it had been years since he’d last seen his brother. He couldn’t even recall the last time he’d seen Winn, probably the day that they were separated by child protective services. It was for their own good the officers said, even though they swore that their father would never get out of prison to find them. It wasn’t difficult finding Winn, in fact it was easy. He hadn’t gotten far from National City while Nate had moved half way across the country and started his own business at the young age of twenty-three. Showing up in National City with Kora was probably going to raise some eyebrows, but finding his brother and showing up at his door was going to make some minds reel. Stopping at the door to Winn’s apartment, Nate took a breath and got a short pep talk from Kora who stepped back but showed her support with her fingers crossed as her best friend knocked on the door of his brother he hadn’t seen in over a decade. Once the door was answered, Nate stood there a little frozen. “Hey, Winn.” He gave a small smile as his brother opened the door.
