Greetings Loved Ones Let’s Take a Journey

Hello! I’m Jessica Schram and I am in my final semester at ASU. I am majoring in journalism and minoring in French. My absolute favorite place to relax is the beach. I love reading thrillers while getting my tan on. Music is another very important aspect of my life. My favorite music festival is Camp Floggnaw and I go every year. I also love to cook! I’ve been trying to transition to a more plant based diet and I enjoy recreating foods with my own twist. I’m excited to see how this semester goes and can’t wait to learn more about online media with everyone.

For my final project, I decided to showcase some of the social media response and community outreach from the school shooting that affected my hometown. I created this Weebly that displays the community’s actions and Instagram posts from people across the valley.

Opposite Movement

For my cinemagraph, I decided to show the city. Instead of the cars moving, the clouds are moving. Normally the cars would be zooming by, but the clouds are lingering.

They’re Upset

Tyler The Creator’s acclaimed music festival, Camp Flog Gnaw happened last weekend. Some of the biggest names in rap music performed. Many of the festival goers thought Frank Ocean was going to be the special guest, and were surprised to see Drake. They booed him until he left the stage. I created this storyboard to show what happened over the weekend.
