Winter time = gear maintenance time!

(Preferred routine: Clean with distilled water and some soft microfiber cloth; apply leather oil with another soft cloth just on the surface (apply just a few drops per item very sparsely, do not let the leather get soaked), then polish again with another soft cloth. This keeps the leather sufficiently moist and flexible, while maintaining its tensile strength. )

Autumn things to do: Cleaning just with lukewarm water applied with a soft microfiber cloth. After drying, leather oil applied extremely economically with some soft piece of cloth to keep the dried leather flexible (just on the surface, the oil must not soak the leather.) Finally some economical application of silicone oil to the zippers to ensure smooth operation.

Spring time can come again.

(All cleaned up and prepped up for next spring. Now I only need to find a way to get rid of those obnoxious little critters (a.k.a. „calories“) that seem to shrink the leather suits each year during winter until spring time…🤭)
