The Native Howl
The Native Howl formed in the early winter months of 2013, they quickly gathered a large local demand to play live. A mere 9 months later, they released their first EP “The Revolution’s Dead.” Their music is a blend of rock, bluegrass and experimental genres that give it a uniquely rustic and clean sound while their lyrics embody a folk-like, storytelling style. The Native Howl is a four piece but has been known to incorporate a multitude of musical guests during a show. Their group includes Jake Sawicki on guitar, Alex Holycross on guitar, David Robinson on bass and Josh Lemieux on drums. All four members sing vocals. Regular on-stage appearances can be expected from the band’s close friends Mark Chandler, a classical guitarist, and Kelsey Szymanski, a high soprano opera singer. They have received much praise and recognition for their unique energy on stage and their ability to get crowds on their feet, singing and dancing to the rhythm.

My name is Stuart Fensom and these here are My Druthers. Having spent the past few years working, travelling, writing, and recording songs in Florida, North Carolina, New England, and the Pacific Northwest, I have finally decided to take the great leap forward into the digital age. With assistance from lifelong friend and internet aficionado, El Sluss, we have launched this website so that I might share some of my shenanigans with you folks. We hope you dig it.
