With your support we plan to tag a minimum of 250 giraffe throughout Africa. We have used GPS satellite units to track giraffe for several years now. They are an invaluable tool in helping us to understand how and where giraffe move. Here is a great example of what we can learn. Luca, a male Nubian giraffe in Kidepo Valley National Park in Uganda, recently became the first recorded giraffe to move from Uganda into South Sudan and return safely to the park.
