OC Outfit Meme

And it's done! I found this outfit meme and realised a few of the outfits would be perfect for my characters, so I decided to draw each character in one of the outfits. It worked out perfectly, 9 outfits and 9 male (well 7 male and 2 non binary) characters

For those curious, we have: Mortem, 404, Absence, Tommy, Snap, Zeal, Api, Time and Atom

The Snap Killer

It’s been another few days since my last useless oc post, so here’s a little piece I wrote regarding Snap in his old universe

The series of murders, named the ‘Snap Killings’, were known across the nation. It started with a few human bodies found in back alleys; their throats slit and necks snapped, but it slowly became a progression of killings, targeting humans who publicly showed their dislike for Carcodills. Many speculated the Snap Killer was in fact a Carcodill themselves carrying out some twisted, vigilante justice, but this suspicion was confirmed when the first sighting of the Snap Killer occurred

Early evening, a citizen of Gainville was walking home when they heard a muffled scream. Cautiously following the sound, they came across a disturbing scene; the Snap Killer with their hands either side of their victim, throat already slit, ready to snap their neck. The alarmed scream of the citizen caused the killer to flee, leaving their victim barely alive. The brave citizen was able to contact emergency services, though sadly the victim died on the way to the hospital. The citizen, however, was able to identify that the killer was in fact a Carcodill with black hair

Around this time, Seth Alexander, as he was known, was made a suspect due to having a matching appearance and being in the area at the time of the murder, but he in fact had an alibi. He was at his friend and respected officer, Tempus Nebulae's house that night, staying over and watching movies. During the time of the murder, Tempus stated the two were on the couch falling asleep to a cheesy romcom

In reality, as told by Seth himself in an interview after his arrest 3 years later, he had waited until his friend was asleep and proceeded to leave the house and track down his next victim, of whom he knew would be in the area after a week of stalking. The fact he was caught in the act caused him to rush back, pretending to sleep beside his friend until he was woken up by Tempus in a panicked state after being informed about the incident and called to investigate. The word of a well respected cop was more than enough to prove him innocent at the time.

However, in one of his final public interviews before being send to the psychiatric cell block of a high security prison, Seth admitted that, despite his nature, clear mental instability and dislike for being turned in, he felt guilty for manipulating his friend

Time is one of the few straight ocs I have, but you'd better believe he's an ally and very supportive, especially to his lesbian best friend

I'm doing another OC outfit meme to kind of keep me drawing when I don't feel motivated, so here's the first two; Time and Zeal

I bought an A6 sketchbook like 2 months back and decided to fill it with OC stuff, so these are the first two pages

It's technically the next day now but WHO CARES TODAY'S ART IS DONE

I dont talk about him as much, but this is my boy Time. He was a police officer in another universe assigned to the case of tracking down 'Snap the Psychopath'. After finally turning Snap in (which is a long story in itself) he was guilt ridden for reasons I'll probably explain another time and a few days later, he woke up someone unfamiliar with a burning sensation on the left side of his face and a strange hat with an hourglass on it that didnt seem to be effected by gravity. He had been thrown into a different universe and the expose to time and space itself was slowly killing him. The hourglass is in fact counting down to his death

He also can't smile, but he's a good bean

Edit: I just realised I never gave him a height, probably because I haven't decided that myself XD

Quick Summary of my OCs

I thought this was a good way to introduce my children to anyone who’s new or hasn’t really seen me post about them since I don’t often, but I want to dedicate more time to them in the new year I also have an archive blog for OC stuff @sciensanity

Atom: Skeleton ghost. Died at the age of 19. Science nerd Shade: Skeleton bat. Created in a lab accident. Shy, creative bean Mortem: Being of depression. Created in 1349 and spent 666 years trapped in the void. Not liked by many others Summer: Humanoid cat from an alternate universe. Trapped in this universe. Pure, wholesome and positive Time: Human from an alternate universe. Exposed to time and space itself and slowly dying. Literally can’t smile and voice is monotone but still tries to be cheerful Snap: Humanoid crocodile from an alternate universe. Borderline sociopath with a joy for killing. Will protect Mortem with his life although it probably won’t be his life that’s being given up here... Zeal: Sentient computer virus. Mischievous bean. Universe he came from was erased Api: Sentient Antivirus Protection Interface. Software that Zeal corrupted and accidentally brought to life. Wants to be friends with everyone Icul: My dark side. Partly who I wish I was and partly the opposite of who I am. Speaks in reverse, but has tried to learn how to talk properly (Erac I taht ton) Absence: Smoke demon. Blind in his right eye and mouth is sewn shut. Deal making demon who suffers from guilt and tries to find loopholes so people don’t sell their souls

I did a poll on which OC I should draw, but the votes were tied for Summer and Time, which is funny because they're best friends and I haven't posted drawings of either one on here (plus they both needed a little redesign since my style has changed a lot)

And for those who are confused, Time is in fact very happy in this picture

How does Time cope with the pain of his body breaking down?

It doesn’t hurt, at least not now, mainly because he’s developed a very high pain tolerance. At first, it was an excruciating burning that made him collapse, and the truth is he couldn’t cope with it. It was the most painful thing he’d ever experienced and he could only curl up in one of the spare room and scream until it passed. Each time, it got easier, until he couldn’t tell the difference between his body breaking down and any other injury that could occur

Now, the most he feels is a small twinge in the area that’s breaking down, and he tends to bandage it up before anything starts to happen
