I need help

If I create a bunch of pieces to a ring big enough to be welded and encircle the planet outside of the atmosphere, I know they will orbit the earth if going fast enough, but if I then say weld them together so it surrounds he earth spinning at the same speed, would it change the properties of how the gravity affects it? Would it just continue circling around the planet? Or would the structure combined never hit the planet due to the same gravitational pull from all directions making it so no one side could pull into the earth, leaving it suspended around the planet to never fall into the atmosphere? I don't know.. Someone please help me with this dilemma... This is all assuming the ring in question is strong enough to withhold the earths gravitational pull from all directions without breaking.

has anyone explored the idea that maybe the universe expansion is happening at a slowly growing rate? like a ball rolling down a slope? it starts off slow and gradually gains speed? and we’re just so early into the expansion that the current rate it’s going at allows life to grow?

i thought of this during my philosophy class as an objection to the fine tuning argument and i don’t know if

2. if anyone has explored it

and i don’t know if it’s too specific to find online
