Communication With The Brain-dead?
Apparently scientists have proven that it is possible to communicate with people who seem to be in a vegetable state. They use a functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) this shows brain activity in real time they ask the patient's questions such as imagine yourself holding a ball and they can see their brain working to do this. I think this is wonderful news that will bring hope to many family's who have family members that are going through this. They are still researching it of course and not every patient was able t responde. Here's a link that explains it a lot better than me!
