The time to celebrate Scott/Kira is fast approaching! In partnership with @scottappreciation, Scira Appreciation Weekend begins in just under 10 days! The event will run from September 13-15, 2025, with both Scott & Kira blogs reblogging all submissions! To participate, simply make something about Scira and tag it with #SciraWeekend25, or mention us via @scottappreciation or @kirayukimuraappreciation. All types of content (fics, edits, art, playlists, gifs, etc.) are welcome, as long as Scira is the focus. We have included some suggested prompts below and look forward to seeing all your creations!

All fics must be Scira-centric and Scira-positive, and for the purposes of this event, "happily ever after" Scira, with no non-canonical character death. We are also not accepting gen or poly Scira fics at this time.

DAY 1/SEPT. 13: CAN I SEE?

Scott and Kira bond over being the first people to truly see the other and not flinch away, and this element of seeing is key to their dynamic—whether it's strong in 3b, or under attack in s5! This prompt is for exploring the various ways they might see each other, whether it's Scott seeing Kira's fox spirit under control (or out of control), Kira seeing Scott's mortal wound, them discussing s4 trauma, and more!

DAY 2/SEPT. 14: YOU CAME BACK FOR ME

Canon (and actor contracts) often forces Scira apart throughout the series, but that just means they have even more opportunities to fight their way back together! What does it mean to Kira that Scott came back for her in 5b, or to Scott that she came back for him to fight the Beast? What might it look like when they reunite post-canon? What if Kira were the one to call Scott back from being a berserker, or Scott had to call Kira out of a fox-spirit takeover? How does Bardo connect (or separate) them? Let the parallels begin!

DAY 3/SEPT. 15: CAN I SHOW YOU SOMETHING?

Trust is a key aspect to Scira's relationship—trusting each other with their supernatural forms, of course, but also Scott trusting Kira with the lightbulbs in s4 and in 5b, or Kira trusting Scott can defeat the Beast and get into UC Davis? What does it mean for Scott to trust Kira will return, or for Kira to trust he'll protect her tail? By contrast, how do they deal with struggling to trust each other in 5a? And what does it look like for that to be rewarded?
