face practice while watching season 5
nostalgia has taken over me
some art of my two favourite idiots lols <333 because im feeling lots of nostalgia for the first few seasons
Even though I'm not a fan of their relationship, Scott and Allison were actually good in s1. But one thing I loved about their interactions was how Scott created a safe space for Allison and made her feel comfortable being a girl, or a human being.
In the first episode, Allison felt so embarrassed about freaking out when she hit the stray dog, because she had been indoctrinated to think she should be strong. So in her head, being strong can't go hand in hand with being a girly girl. Scott noticed this and assured her he, a guy, would also freak out and cry like a girly girl, making her know it was alright to be vulnerable.
In a deleted scene, they're driving to Lydia's party, and he asks her if she listens to lady gaga. She gets defensive, i think trying to push back to the stereotype that all girls listen to lady gaga, then he sheepishly smiles and admits he also listens to her music. Allison became more at ease and then admits she listens to lady gaga.
Even in s2, she's dealing with the grief of losing Kate, and she felt so conflicted about mourning a murderer. But he made her know it's okay to grieve because she lost an aunt, and a friend. So she's valid in her tears.
Personally, I actually feel like Allison needed Scott because he made her feel so safe and secure and valid. And it kinda pushed her to grow, and deconstruct toxic ideologies forced into her head.
āYou have no idea what you are, do you? The wailing woman. A banshee, right before my eyes. Youāre just like me, Lydia. Look like the innocent flower, but be the serpent under it.ā
What the hell does that mean?
Iām not a psychic. And apparently Iām not much of a banshee either. But Iām trying to helpĀ my friends.

Everyone always treating Stiles like the smartest character in Teen Wolf even though Lydia is canonically smarter than him is honestly the biggest sign of how sexist this fandom is.
Lydia has an IQ of 170, and with her honor classes combined with her regular classes, her GPA is ABOVE a 4.0, possibly even above a 5.0. Do you know how hard it is for the average high school student to get a 4.0 GPA? Let alone higher than that? The average High School GPA in America is in the 3.0 ranges.
Please please PLEASE stop treating Lydia like an idiot or just a ācold and heartless bitchā just because you think she āgets in the wayā of your stupid white boy ship
I just have voices in my head.
āI believe you. After everything weāve been through, I believe you.
i am still to this day OUTRAGED that they made mason a cop in the movie. like what the fuck guys. he was supposed to go to UCLA and get some crazy iq 1 million science degree masters doctorate thingy. he was gonna get some smart person job or take over deaton as emissary or write a bunch of papers about the supernatural or SOMETHING. my disappointment was IMMEASURABLE. mason of all people would NEVER. mason would KNOW the justice system is fucked up and he has wayyyyy too much potential to have THAT be what he spends his life doing. i am still so fucking mad
āThereās no such thing as fate.ā
haha look at this witty banter between lydia martin and the man who psychologically tortured her and tried to murder her hahaha so sweet and funny
