Open Starter: First Starfall
Elain stood in a dress of pale blue, and when the light hit it just right, it sparkled like starlight. She’d been told it was a fitting dress for the evening, though no one had told her what to expect. Feyre had the previous day commented that it was much better viewed than explained, and that it was too difficult to explain anyway.
So Elain stood on the edge of the party, watching, feeling out of place in a setting that she’d once felt very at home in. It’d been a lot time coming, adjusting to her new life, her new power. Learning it, learning how to interpret it. And it was strange to spend a night here. When she felt the presence approach and stand next to her she only glanced for a moment. “Hello,” she said softly. “I don’t imagine you’ll tell me what this is all about?”
