A human was missing sure, but it was on the witches’ turf the attack happened and Magenta was not about to take any chances. On her break she sat east in a ring of candles and casted a protection spell on herself. She knew it wouldn’t be a permanent solution but, for now, it had to suffice.
Hearing a knock on the door, Magenta waved her hands upwards and, like magic, the ring of candles dispersed- levitating back to their designated place on the shelves. And with a snap of her fingers the crystals, sage bundle and sea shells disappeared into thin air. Her mahogany colored eyes swept the room once more before opening the door to her massage parlor. “Hey,” she chirped, greeting her client, “you’re right on time. Come on in”
