since we’re getting emo in this chili’s tonight... u ever remember that President Nerd, straight A student Mike Wheeler skipped school just bc El said she was unsafe, and then proceeded to spend the entire day making her laugh (for maybe the first time) and showing her all these new things, and all his favourite things, just to help her feel more comfortable, before he even knew what she could do or that she could help
