🥶️ ( me, not tormenting lyon by sending in the mistletoe one ? shocking )
send 🥶️ for our muses to warm up by cuddling close to a fire.
lyon hadn’t meant to push juvia nto the river. no, really he hadn’t.
curse his animated behaviour and dramatic arm motions ! before he even realised what he’d done, juvia was in the freezing water, glaring at him. though, if he was able to catch her off guard and actually knock her over then she must have been really engaged in what he was saying, she must have been listening to his story quite intently, she must have cared —- really not important right now ! the walk back to lamia scale had been icier than the water she’d fallen into, lyon was pretty sure that his burning face was more than hot enough to dry her off.
he’d opted for a fire instead — a fire and a myriad of blankets, which she was currently curled up under, she was pouting a little … god, she must hate him.
‘ juvia, ’ lyon speaks, approaching her slowly, it’s almost like he’s dunked a cat in a bath and it could turn on him any second —- rightfully so. ‘ i am …. so sorry. ’ he takes a seat on the opposite end of the couch to her, a safe distance. as he looks at her, he notices something in her eye, a small glimmer of something — does she find this whole thing funny ? is that mirth in her eye ? he tests out his theory.
‘ if it’s any consolation, i am completely mortified ! imagine what people will be saying tomorrow, hm ? lamia scale’s ace pushes poor, beautiful, innocent woman into the river ! ’ he flops back into the couch, covering his eyes dramatically, ‘ i’ll never live this down, will i ? ’
lyon pouts at her, desperate for any kind of reaction, verbal or otherwise.
‘ juvia, please. you’re a water mage ! you can drown me next ! then we’re even ! ’ he rests his head on her shoulder, cuddling into her, but only slightly — boundaries and all that.
‘ juuuuuvia, ’ he chuckles a little, ‘ darling, please ! ’
