If for some reason you’ve missed out on the last few years of Scotchtrooper’s fantastic posts, you can still check them out on his Instagram. But unfortunately, as was explained this week on Scotch Test Dummies 12 Hours of Boom, Brett (Scotchtrooper) has been ordered to stop posting his photography of Star Wars figures with Scotch (or any other alcohol) due to a formal complaint filed with DISCUS, the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States. Some jealous asshat claims that he was marketing alcohol to minors with his artistic photography. 

I’ve been following Scotchtrooper since early 2016 and was sooooo excited to find someone else who also loved Star Wars and Scotch whisky both like I did! However, while he’s barred from posting his photography on social media, he has started a Patreon account, so please do check it out and support him however you can.

The only drink I ever had the pleasure of sharing with Brett was a cup of matcha tea (his other love besides scotch). He was in town for a short weekend and was coming off the tail end of some food poisoning and still made the effort to meet up with a person he had never met before just because of our shared love for whiskey. Your opinion on: A favorite companion, regarding Doctor Who? Also, a favorite doctor?

Favorite companion: Donna! Donna. Oh, Donna. Snarky queen of my heart, the best temp in Chiswick, and the most important woman in the universe. She was so good for the Doctor, her time with him was so good for her, and she has my least favorite ending of any companion out there.

Favorite Doctor: Four. Four was the first Doctor I remember seeing, on PBS all those years ago when I really didn’t understand what was going on. He had a huge scarf and a friendly smile and there were weird monsters around, and he will absolutely always be my favorite.
