Harassed, Bullied, Fired.

I got an email from Change.org today letting me know about this petition against Scott Driscoll.

This man has abused (what appears to be all) women he has worked with, asking one to record her period on a company calendar, another to wear a cowboy hat while he took photos, and fired a woman for taking time off for surgery after being assaulted.

He is also known for bullying and threatening other coworkers, both male and female. As if this awful bullying and misconduct wasn't enough, he is now aiming to become the new MP of Redcliffe, QLD. The petition on change.org calls for his immediate dismissal from the Liberal National Party.

This has gained media attention on Channel 9 and Courier Mail, so let's keep this snow ball rolling, and get this bastard the fuck away from parliament.

I don't understand why as soon as a sexual assault claim is made against any man in a position of power it's brushed off as "damaging allegations" I can't even begin to imagine how awful victims must feel, and how brave they are to come forward in the first place, to be brushed off as slander must be the worst thing, it has to stop.
