I have reason to believe this mask is what inspired the making of Ena's demon form.
The mask is called 'Flight of the Shaman, Spirit under the glacier' and was part of Scott Jensen's exhibition at the Stonington gallery in 2014.
It represents a ritual in which shamans would enter a trance and call upon spirits, although they had no control over said spirits.
Once the shaman was taken over by the spirit, he would make the same gestures and speak or sign in the language of the spirit.
Their body would move and contort in unnatural ways during this process and end with the shaman collapsing in a trance during which the spirit would leave the body and visit other places.
Idk about you but the colour, contortions and the little face on the forehead representing the host seem related.
