CASE FILE NO. HHJH-47-LLT1
This is another transcript I found while digging through the file Human Massacre #3. This is during the time period containing our most relevant case at this moment. This may prove useful in this investigation.
(The air is silent for about 5 minutes. Heavy boots are heard against the tiles, then a sound of a chair being dragged to a point and being sat upon.)
FREE:(a tired, gruff voice) This is Case File Number HHJH-47-LTT1. Recording the interrogation of Suspect number 3857. Identity is concealed to protect anonymity. (A short pause)
Good evening, sir. This is a simple interrogation. If you cooperate, things will turn out just fine for you. However, (a pause) if you fail to comply I will personally see to it that you will never see the light of day or the darkness of your realm.. Ever again.
SUSPECT:(words in recording are garbled due to identity protection) Yes, officer.
FREE:You are a suspect in the numerous cases of human deaths throughout a single realm. The causes of these deaths are most often different forms of decapitation, severe trauma, and/or other physical violence. Do you know about this?
FREE:(growling) Maybe I haven't made myself clear. You help us, we help you. There's no point in one-siding this.
SUSPECT:(afraid) I... I can't say.
FREE:(Takes a deep breath) Alright. It's okay. This is a safe place, see? Your identity will not be displayed anywhere, not even in this file.
SUSPECT:(Pause)... Alright. There's... An organization. I'm not sure what it's called, but there are a lot of demons running it. Word on the street is that they are recruiting more and more demons for specific duties. (Another pause) I.. I was approached by a member, who asked me if I wanted unlimited energy, to become some unstoppable force. (Pause, then continued, voice shaking) Of course I said yes... Because of the energy crisis, you know? Times are a bit tough for those who can't get around. (Voice breaks) I... I had no idea the kinds of jobs they had me do would be this intense, but I didn't know what else to do--
*voice cuts off to SUSPECT crying, scuffles of boots are made as everyone rises to their feet*
FREE:So, you would admit that you are ***********'s killer? That you murdered another demons human to gain energy for yourself? (Handcuffs jingle in the background)
SUSPECT:(Crying profusely now) Yes! Yes, I admit it. I did it! Just please don't let them get me! Please!
*the cries grow more distant as he is carried out of the room. The scuffling of boots is heard as the only noise in the room, as the sound gently shifts to a table scooting back to the wall.*
SCOTT:(sighs) this is the second one this month... What the **** even is this...?
So, obviously this takes place before the primary incident of present investigation. There's... Some kind of organization involved in this, of not the key element to this whole thing. If you have any thoughts, @mimi-cry, please don't hesitate to call me.
