Fandom ship names be like:

It’s called “Bloodletting” because it’s a tragic relationship between a doctor who would give anything to save the people he cares about and a vampire with medical trauma who isolates himself and would not expose a vein like that. It’s called that because Legs literally gives up his blood to get Owen to trust him. It’s called that because they were each other’s downfall they literally and figuratively caused each other to bleed out because they gave so much of themselves to try and heal each other (but they had different ideas as to what healing meant). Bloodletting is a literal act that’s significant to both of them and their stories and also a figurative one that shows the tragedy of their arcs.

It’s… it’s called Avott because… because … it’s… Avid and… Scott… it’s their names… together… we put their names together… nnnnngggghhhhhhh

The simple reason why Scott was redeemed and Owen wasn't was because Scott's entire character revolved around making things better for himself, whereas Owen's revolved around making things worse for others.
