I picked this vinyl single up from the record store today. It was in the folk box, but discogs describe 'so you think you're a cowboy' as scottish cowpunk. 'Don't need you' is their only release I could find evidence of online, and while it's from the 80s, it sounds a lot like 2000s folk punk. Its a really pretty breakup song. I liked it, and I recommend it if you can find a copy or download.
