Got Monster Hunter: World the day it came out. I always loved the series but this game really made it something else. I wish there was more lore on the world itself though. Ah well. The game kicks your fucking ass (took me and my squad of four three days until all of us beat the damn Anjanath, and the Rabodaan has me in tears) but it makes up for it in beauty, game play, Monsters, and pretty much everything else.

Here’s my Hunter OC, Eia Jakki. I took my favourite pieces of armour in the game so far and played around with their designs a little bit. :) I’m probably gonna post way more of her and Monster Hunter: World in general. xx

So feeling inspired I figured I’d take a page out of @therealadamsavage book and do a one day build. I made the scout fly cage form #monsterhunterworld to go with my hunter cosplay I’m doing. Got the inspiration when I found a tiny bird cage on clearance at #hobbylobby and thought it could work for the scout flies. Then using an empty puff paint bottle, a balloon light, scrap foam and leather I challenge myself to make it in a day. Over all I think it turned out really good. So while picking up stuff for a commission at #hobbylobby I saw lanterns and bird cages were 50%off, and saw this small bird cage (left) and thought it be prefect to make the scout fly cage (right) from #monsterhunterworld It is a little small but the cages very depending on the armor set, so I can make it work. Slow working towards a #MHW cosplay. I can wait to have time to work on my Monster Hunter armor. #cosplay #birdcage #prop #futureproject #scoutflies
