It’s been a grueling day here in Alagadda. Albedo, Rubedo, Citrinitas, and I have had to work incredibly hard. There were so many issues, and I had to assist all three of them. Since my daughter Albedo has a broken leg, she couldn't go down into the sewers herself to inspect them, so I had to go, afterwards, we set about designing new ones. With my daughter Rubedo, I reviewed dozens of old laws and taxes, deciding which to keep, which to modify, and which to scrap. With my son Citrinitas, I’ve been patrolling the city from evening until just now, catching, judging, and punishing thieves, as crime has been on the rise lately. I am absolutely exhausted.

Today I spoke with my son, the Alchemist of Alagadda, the one who’d been causing so much trouble lately with that nonsense about the war with Clown Town, or when he botched the execution of that piece-of-shit bird (I won't even say its name, it disgusts me so much). It looked like he’d become a total failure, maybe even a public menace. But instead, after that crushing humiliation, he shut himself up in his tower to study alchemy. And guess what he discovered? A new method to turn lead into gold 33% faster. I’m so proud of him! There hadn't been any progress in this field for 300 years. Alagadda is the true capital of alchemy, take that, Kul-Manas!

Potential new roleplay blog

Hi everyone. As many of you know, I run an SCP-themed roleplay blog where I pose as the Ambassador of Alagadda, specifically, the one known as @ambassador-of-alagadda. That blog is doing really well (I have more followers there than here, lol), so I’ve decided I might start another one soon in teh same lore and universe, within a week or two at most. The problem is, I don’t know which character to base it on, or even whether to do it at all, or just focus on the Ambassador instead. The characters would be Bobble the Clown (the one from SCP-993), Queen Mab, and the Consul of Alagadda. Tell me which one you'd prefer I start a roleplay blog for. In the event of a tie, I will rerun the poll with only the winners (even though this might extend the timeframe a bit).

Weekly Alagaddan news

The sewer system has started to be remodeled after it was discovered to be outdated by the White Lord and The Ambassador, leaving some areas without water for short times as the repairs and alterations are done.

After the sewer systems are fully rebuilt, the White Lord will be heading the construction of a brand new theater. Tickets during the opening week will be free.

The MC&D auction house is holding it's first auction later this week. Many artifacts from across the multiverse will be up for grabs. From an insider comment a small fragment of the Scarlet King's crown will be presented for purchase as the final item of the auction.
