Xanthosis bitbeast concept, based on the Alchemy Process of Citrinas. The first of four bitbeasts in the works; this one is based on the Greek Hippalectryon. I'm still working on the designs for the team, but I do have plans for this one.

I don’t think Dirk is bad though. He’s working to achieve a plan that is supposed to help everyone for the greater good (he mentions this in Meat, hence absconding with Rose) but in order to achieve what is “essential” he had to become the villain. He cares so much about others that he became bad.

no offense but that sounds really stupid. and i dont think thats correct or if it was that he would even do that because . he doesnt want to be a villain. hes scared of being bad so i dont think that he would risk going that far into it.

he doesnt want it to happen. he doesnt want to be a bad person. 

also in general hes just really out of character and fucked up, outside of whatever is ~essential~ (ie being a dick to jake during his show and shit, being weirdly obsessed with how much dave and karkat are having sex) i dont think thats ALL because of him realizing he has to Be A Bad Person to Be A Good Person or whatever cuz it has no connection and makes no sense. i think its just really bad writing
