I love how the existence of SCP-682-b and peanut in your au implies the fact that the saps that the foundation deals with are just the ones who are either batshit crazy or just plain losers
Honestly yes. I like to think most 682's aren't like, Friendly, but like any predator if they're not hungry they just mind their own business. Canon 682 is just.. abnormally fussy about how gross the world is. Too much pride to put that adaptive ability to full, proper use and actually get comfortable in the place he's stuck in. Styx adapted to human life because he isn't so prideful as to keep finding the things and people around him "beneath" him, and humans likewise just treated him decently in return. To be fair, canon 682 probably wants to also just go home, but I feel he of all people could somehow arrange that if he Really Really wanted. Seems more like the type to get validation from his contempt.
As for 173... I like to think they're all ridiculously varied and different, so it's more of a case by case thing. Peanut in this au was probably also trained and abnormally mild-mannered among sculptures. Doesn't speak much unless you break eye-contact but happy to listen.
anon also asked: Are SCP and Human Agent still boyfriends?
Yes. Styx and Trevor go on dinner dates, and watch football together. After a long day they cuddle on the couch. Don't worry about the logistics, Styx always finds a way to manage.
another anon asked: I love how your art exists as a fine line between eldritch madness and funny cartoon, and you the artist hopscotch between the two like a madman
Just doing my job.
