How did Tengen end up as Zenitsu's student in the Tsuguko AU?

tengen thought that the best way to get as good as he could as quick as possible would be to train underneath a hashira. but since there was no sound hashira at the time, he turned to the next best thing. since sound breathing is a branch technique of thunder breathing, tengen sought out the current thunder hashira for extra training

but zenitsu kind of already had a tsuguko in kaigaku and zenitsu also really wants to speedrun his way to retirement so he didn't want to have to split his attention between students.

unfortunately for him, tengen basically continuously pestered him for training until zenitsu basically had to cave. so now tengen lives with zenitsu and mooches off of him whenever possible and is generally an annoyance to him out of habit more than anything

zenitsu is outwardly annoyed and internally regretfully fond of the kid.

kaigaku thinks he's weird and worries sometimes that zenitsu will drop him as a student in favor of devoting all of his time to tengen.

Hob headcanons part II

We all know hob built the new inn (and lives in the apartment above)

He’s made a habit of hanging out there in his free time and lends a hand to the waitstaff if they need it

He used to bartend when the inn first opened but had to ‘leave’ after a decade or so

It’s a known secret among his students that he owns this bar but really only his ta’s and grad students go there (he gives them a discount if he sees them) the undergrads still think it’s weird to see teachers out of class

hob takes up cooking because the only guaranteed way he’ll be able to eat his favorite foods in the future is if he makes them himself

immortality does not mean eternal youth nor superhuman healing abilities. If hob gets injured it takes him the normal amount of time to recover but any fatal injuries do instantly heal but only the bare minimum to keep him alive (ie. If he took bullet to the heart his body would heal the heart and keep the blood pumping but wouldn’t heal the gaping wound in his chest) hob can also scar and has quite a collection

Hob does age but only kind of. His eye sight starts to get a little blurry and his hair grays just a bit but then will revert back. He’s mostly got the cycle locked down and uses it to stay in one place longer

after hob and dream start seeing each other more than once a century, Matthew and hob become besties (much to dreams annoyance)

Hob likes to watch Matthew eat weird food that ravens really should not be eating

Matthew brings hob take out and yes sometimes patrons of the new inn see a big ass bird carrying a bag of chinese food

Depressed Ramblings

Why do I feel belonging to a moment when it's long gone?

Why do people I should've loved and kept by me have now moved on?

I don't know that face that stares back at me in the mirror,

She's far too changed for me to feel at home with her.

I hold it all in, I try to hide what I feel,

Feelings are not my cup, right, that's my whole deal?

Then why am I hear on a perfectly fine Sunday evening,

Broken on a mattress, spilling my pain like there's no meaning?

But is there, really? I ask you, was it all worth it,

Giving my all to each I met, to feel like I just wasn't made to fit?

What am I doing with my life, they ask, you know I don't really have a clue,

Getting by each day praying the next will be too good to be true.

Wasted potential, oh what a shame, that sad old sharp girl,

Could've been so much, but look at the pathetic mess, laugh as she will cry and twirl.

I feel like I should end it, but I am such a coward,

Applause for those that saw this coming,

thumbs down to those that still look forward.

Can't blame it on nobody or nothing, it was me all along,

But why does starting over and a second chance just sound possible in a happy song?
