witchcraftings got me interested in "the screaming lady", a female spirit who screams or yells at everyone she sees. So, I made quick research because I'd never heard of anything like that before.
Apparently, screaming or crying spirits are very common all over the world, and on this site www.yourghoststories.com a lot of people have written about their encounter with said spirits. Sometimes they're seen with bloodstains on their clothes, and their appearances ranges from elderly victorian women in dark clothes to young women in white or gray dresses, but they all have one thing in common: They scream.
In Ireland, a screaming lady is known as a Banshee, and is seen as an omen of death and as a messenger from the underworld. She is often seen with bloodstains on her clothes, or seen washing off the blood of the person about to die.
