So I may have rewatched the Madagascar movies with my family (they are waaay more funny than I remember imo) and fallen in love with the Ben Stiller lion…his design is just 😩👌

I love how they push the designs to be super geometric and stylized, but they still look and move like animals and not just humans in furry costumes (no hate, I’m a Sonic fan I’m in no position to judge lmao) Anyways the colors on Alex especially are amazing, 10/10 lion design

Screencap redraws 2/? - I wish we could’ve seen what their faces looked like under their helmets in this scene… also, part of my mission with drawing the clones accurately in this series is uh. Allowing them to show human emotions? Echo and Fives witnessed their entire squad - mostly their batchmates, the clones they grew up with - get killed in various horrific ways, you’re telling me they didn’t shed any tears over that? Bullshit. And I’m sure Cody and Rex were affected by it too in their own ways, hence Rex not even being able to look while holding onto Cody for support and Cody’s stony expression to mask the hurt. Just. Let these guys show emotions more than once per series, please. 🤲
