I screwed up his helmet AGAIN. At this point how I normally draw it is just gonna be how he looks

As for the reason his teeth are like that, the fangs were a design choice, the chipping and crookedness of his front teeth is because when Gate's creator died he was really young and had no idea how to regulate his emotions, as a result he would bash his face into walls, tables, and anything he could bash his face into simply to shock himself out of it.

He stopped when he started learning more about emotions and found that there were better ways to handle them, and also because of the amount of times he'd bust his nose and mouth and cause them to bleed

If I remember from the spoiler dump the wish doesn't work because the LB/Cat aren't the ones who grant the wish in reverseland. That explains why SB/Claw don't need each other's Miraculous.
